NEED REHAB FOR AN INJURY? Clients with injuries or special considerations are encouraged to attend Private Studio Equipment classes as a personalised program based on your specific needs can be developed and adjusted when needed.
PRE/POST-NATAL? Pilates is also a great way to stay active when pregnant and our Studio Equipment class offers the flexibility needed to ensure you move in a way that is safe for you and your baby.
MAT CLASSES – Our small semi-private Mat Classes are suited to the generally fit and are aimed at all levels of fitness.
NEW CLIENT INTRODUCTORY CLASS & PACKAGE
You’re new to Pilates or our Studio and ready to get started on improving your health and wellness. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible so this package is all about you!
You will receive a FREE Private 1-on-1 session when you become a member of the ‘tlc tribe’ where you will walk through your goals, all the fundamentals of the Pilates repertoire and be introduced to the other Pilates equipment such as the Reformer, Cadillac, Spine Corrector and Wunda Chair.
Offered as part of the New Client Package which also includes a 10 Semi-Private Classes. Held at a time that suits you, the class runs for 50 minutes and includes a pair of our MoveActive Grip Socks and a Microfibre Mat Towel. This is a bookings only event and will be organised with you after your initial New Client Package is purchased and paid online prior to the day – open to new clients only.

STUDIO EQUIPMENT PILATES
These 50 minute customised sessions offer a great opportunity to reach your own personal health and wellbeing goals with individual instruction, hands-on assistance and personalised programs for your level of ability.
These client-specific programs are the best option to improve fitness, strength, maximise rehabilitation from injury or achieve whatever goal you’ve set for yourself. It is also suitable for pregnancy and lower back issue/pain or other ongoing or chronic injury or illness.
This class offers something different to the mass Mat & Reformer group classes now readily available at Gyms and Reformer Studios by offering a Pilates program specific to your needs and goals. It’s personal training at it’s best! Each class participant works on different exercises on different equipment pieces throughout the class.
Studio Equipment classes at tlc pilates utilise all of the primary Pilates apparatus: the Reformer, the Cadillac Tower, the Wunda Chair, Spine Corrector Barrel and the Mat & Pilates Props. Best of all, the specialised equipment & exercises are easily tailored for each individual by adjusting resistance levels and using modifications, allowing you to work at an appropriate fitness level.
Studio Equipment Classes are offered in 2 class types;
- Private 1-1 – THRIVE Members
- Semi-Private – LIFESTYLE & CORE Members
Private 1-1 – Personal 1-1 movement appointments for the ultimate workout and results with undivided attention and hands-on instruction from your practitioner. This class is recommended for those with acute injuries or conditions that would benefit from a therapy or clinical type session where the instructor is by your side for the entire session. Because of the nature of 1-1 instruction, this class is also ideal for those wanting to be challenged for maximum athletic improvement as individual programs can be spontaneously adjusted without need for the consideration of other class participants. This is our Studio’s Signature Class and our specialty. We call our Private class members – ‘Thrive Members’!
THESE CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE ONLY IN PACKAGES AND APPT’s AVAILABLE OUTSIDE GROUP CLASS TIMETABLE
Semi-Private (3ppl max) – Our most-popular Class, our Studio Equipment classes. These sessions ensure you still receive the level of in-depth instruction required & deserved to challenge and improve your current movement patterns and core strength. Still including a bespoke program for your needs & goals but with some consideration and choreography to work alongside other class participants. This class is perfect for Friends, Work Colleagues, Neighbours, Sisters, Mother & Daughters, Bridal Party, Couples. Our lovely tribe members are always supportive and welcoming of newcomers to their classes! Due to popularity and our ‘small class’ guarantee all class times are in high demand and slots fill quickly, please contact the studio to find out if your preferred times are available.
You can choose to become a ‘Lifestyle Member’ attending 2 x class appointments per week OR a ‘Core Member’ attending 1 x class appointment every week.

MAT MOVEMENT
These 50 minute ‘all-level’ classes take place in a semi-private setting using your body weight as the primary source of resistance.
Mat Movement classes are based on the classic Pilates repertoire with loads of fun variations and props to provide a challenging, full body workout
Pilates mat classes focus on developing core strength, flexibility, precision, balance and stamina. Various props such as foam rollers, Pilates magic circles, light weights and balls are incorporated to enhance and intensify the workout.
You’ll learn to be mindfully aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core.
Working from these deep layers of muscles which stabilise and support your spine and pelvis will result in a stronger, more flexible spine and will improve your posture and alignment.
These classes can stand alone for your workout regimen but are a great addition to your weekly studio class by understanding the deeper connection and movement patterns that are incorporated when using the studio equipment.
No previous Pilates experience is necessary to join a mat class, however, you should be in general good health with no injury.
Mat Class is held Tuesday’s 4:30pm.
***Our Mat Movement Class is a hybrid class, with some participants in-studio and the rest joining via Video Conference. Our in-studio slots vary with availability but Virtual Zoom slots are always available. MINDFUL MAT (VIRTUAL ONLINE GROUP CLASS)

Our newest series of classes have been designed especially with slower more mindful movement for those that require a shorter workout to fit in with their day.
These 30-35 minute relaxing and energising mat-based classes are focused on breathing, alignment and awareness.
These classes are live Virtual Online Group Classes (held on Zoom) held outside of business hours to ensure busy professionals can benefit as well. With the Studio having limited availability due to demand, our online classes are the next best thing!
This class series is all-levels friendly, great for newcomers to Pilates, those who want to enhance their in-studio practice or those simply looking for slower, gentle paced classes that are energising and restorative in your busy life.
Mindful Mat is offered in 2 class types;
- Strength & Mobility
- Stretch & Flow
Strength & Mobility Class – Held on Mondays at 6pm, our Strength & Mobility Class follows the same principles as our Mat Movement Classes (see above) but with the focus being at a more Beginner/Basic level. We’ll work on strengthening and mobilising our entire body using the mat and our body weight improving our core strength and coordination along the way.
Stretch & Flow Class – Held on Friday’s at 6:45am these sessions are exactly as they sound. We’ll start with mindfulness, body awareness & breathing, flowing our way through lovely mobility sequences. This class is the ultimate for mind-set & releasing tension along with rejuvenation, restoration, and relaxation. As with all Pilates, we’ll still always be working our core, just being more precise and fluid along the way.

*New Clients purchasing our ‘Mindful Mat Package’ receive an initial FREE Private Introductory Class (either in-studio or online) where we run through all the basic fundamentals ensuring you are comfortable joining class.
PRIVATE ONLINE VIRTUAL CLASS
This 30 minute Private 1-1 class held via Video Conference is perfect for those wanting to practice from the comfort of their own home. All that’s required is an internet connection, the zoom app and a mat/towel for the floor!
We’ll work through a full body movement session using the Mat and any props you may have available such as foam rollers, theraband, weights or a fitball. If you’re lucky enough to own your own Reformer or Chair (perfect for Instructors) we’ll utilise those too. We’ll customise the session dependent on your needs specific to that particular day, eg if you’re suffering a headache, we’ll do a head, neck and shoulder release session or a gentle mobility workout if you’re not feeling well.
Especially designed for those times you’re not feeling 100% but still wish to do your session or for when stuck at home with sick kids. Also useful on those busy weeks when time is of the essence, when you’re away on holidays or if you’re not quite ready to practice in-person just yet.
These classes are Virtual Online Classes and booked by appointment as required, please contact the studio to discuss or book. Studio Equipment class passes are also able to be used for Private Virtual Classes.
