Kim’s Pilates Journey

For the last three months I have been doing Pilates 2 times a week. I use to do lots of aerobics and tennis etc but for the last few years I concentrated heavily on my family and businesses and I forgot to spend time on my physical health and it’s amazing how much muscle I had started to lose after not doing much for those years.
I tried going back to the gym and tried some sessions with a PT but I struggled to want to go each week as it was so full on but I remembered loving Pilates back in the day so thought I’d go check it out.
Well, I found the amazing Tamara from Tlc pilates and was amazed that now Pilates wasn’t just on a mat but had machines to work on. I was a little nervous the first time as wondered if I’d be able to do it.
It’s so much fun. It’s not easy and it really pushes your strength but you only do small sets of movements and I come out feeling amazing each time.
Just learning to breathe properly and using correct posture makes such a difference and I can say that in 3 months of consistency I am a lot stronger and muscles are coming back. With a semi-private setting in a Studio class, Tamara gives great attention to us and makes sure we are getting the most out of each movement.
I would highly recommend Pilates to anyone who wants to improve their strength in a calm fun way.

TRY OUR TASTER CLASS

We get it! You’ve not tried Pilates before and you want to give it a go and ‘try before you buy’. Perhaps you’ve only tried Reformer Classes and want to experience what a Studio Equipment Class may be like.

Join us for our no-obligation Taster Class. Walk through the fundamentals of Pilates and be introduced to the Pilates equipment such as the Reformer, Cadillac Wall Tower, Springboard and Wunda Chair. A great chance to have a look around the studio. Meet your instructor. Ask any other questions you’ve been dying to know. VIP treatment all the way in a semi-private setting with just 2 class participants.

Held occasionally during the year, watch the timetable, our Facebook Page or contact us to find out when the next upcoming session is. You can also book in for a Complimentary Meet n Greet direct with the studio. This is a special event class and held outside normal class times and is strictly a Pre-Book/Pay appointment – no walk-ins or general public drop-ins. They may not be available if memberships are at/near capacity.
